Visitors entering after 5:30PM will need to purchase an Evening Walk add-on ticket of RM18 per pax at the counter.

To reach The Habitat, take the Penang Hill funicular train from the Lower Station at Air Itam to the top of Penang Hill. The Habitat entrance is just a short walk from the Upper Station. You can reach Air Itam via e-hailing, driving a rental car or take the Rapid Penang Bus 204.
Most visitors spend about 1.5 to 2 hours exploring The Habitat. If you're taking your time to enjoy the canopy walk, Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, and the forest trails, you may want to allocate 2–3 hours.
Yes, The Habitat is family-friendly and senior-friendly. The walking trails are well-paved and mostly flat. For those with limited mobility, buggy services are available upon request, making it accessible for all ages.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, light clothing, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water bottle. A raincoat or umbrella is also a good idea, as the weather can be unpredictable on the hill.

For the best weather and views, visit early in the morning (9–11am) when it’s cooler and less crowded. Weekdays are quieter. To catch the sunset, go in the late afternoon, but arrive early to enjoy the full trail before it closes.
